The Nets collective mileage ticker is now closing in on 10,000 after a seven and a half hour flight from Moscow to Beijing.  The team charter touched down at about 10:30 p.m. Beijing time (10:30 a.m. ET).  They play again at 8:00 p.m. (8:00 a.m. ET) on Wednesday vs. Yao Ming's Rockets.

After a 6:00 a.m. (10:00 p.m. Sunday) wake-up call, the team headed to the airport for another leg on the jet lag challenge.  Team officials said players seemed energized by their day in Moscow and particularly the time with Mikhail Prokhorov at the "Celebration of Basketball".  Each player got a scarf from Russia's  Association of College Basketball, which Terrence Williams fashioned into head gear for the Beijing trip.

One Net who came away from the experience impressed was Devin Harris, who said of Prokhorov, “It’s not just that he’s Russian.  He’s proven to be the best in pretty much anything that he’s touched and he has a feel for the game. Those things are recipes for success.”
