Most of the 80 families at a homeless shelter near where Barclays Center will be built have been relocated to permanent housing, further clearing the way for arena construction. The Pacific Dean Shelter, long expected to close, won't be developed into apartment towers for several years but Forest City Ratner will use the site to store construction vehicles. Those remaining will be moved to other shelters, says the city.
