It turns out the reported delay in condemnation proceedings was not a delay at all, but a computer mistake. Proceedings are still set for January 29. A computer readout had showed they had been postponed until March 17 with a new judge. Some residents plan to appeal condemnation. Also Tuesday, a state court heard critics' arguments that changes in the arena plan should've required new approvals.
