With ground breaking and condemnation set for the next few weeks, Brooklyn residents are concerned about the effect an arena would have on security and pollution. The Brooklyn Paper, noting security at the new LIRR rail terminal, reports that NYPD is reviewing plans for Barclays. And the Architect's Paper notes air pollution at the site is already bad. "Just imagine how bad it will be on game nights?"
