Rports (mostly out of Miami) suggested that Pat Riley had spoken to Rod Thorn about trading for one of the Nets' two back-up point guards, Rafer Alston and Keyon Dooling. But in talking with Heat beat writers Wednesday, Riley claimed adding a point guard wasn't a priority: "I don't want to waste another roster spot on a point guard that's never going to play." Mario Chalmers and Chris Quinn are Miami's PGs.
