On the same day New York State approved a revised plan for Barclays Center, reports circulated that Russia's richest man may finance the arena in return for a stake in the team. Reuters, AP, the Times and Russian media are all reporting the talks and Mikhail Prokhorov's office confirmed he's "preparing an offer". Prohkorov would be among the NBA's richest owners with assets rivaling the Blazers' Paul Allen.
