How Much are the Nets Losing?

In a conference call with analysts Friday, the CEO of Bruce Ratner's parent company called the Nets losses "modestly lower" in the first half of 2009. But a Sports Business Journal analysis of Forest City Enterprises' financials shows dramatically increasing losses: $25 million for the first half, rising from $14 million in same period last year. A sports business consultant told SBJ the Nets can't make money at the IZOD.
