The day after Bruce Ratner unveiled his new design for the Barclays Center, it was all about money. The city's Independent Budget Office provided its review of how the arena would affect city finances. Bottom line: the city loses, but Ratner, the state and MTA gain. Meanwhile, Ratner says he hopes to get financing for the arena--as much as $700 million--in the next few weeks...but admits he needs new investors.
