Eduardo Najera says that the Nets were right to keep him from playing in the FIBA Americas tournament this week. It's been five months since his abdominal surgery, but he still wasn't ready to risk further injury. He's feeling better now, though and should be scrimmaging at the Nets' practice facility next week. He's optimistic about the upcoming season and has talked leadership with Devin Harris over dinner.
