This weekend, the pressure will be on Yi Jianlian to lead China to the FIBA Asia Cup, three games in three days to step outside the very large shadow of Yao Ming. In the first six games, Yi has been as dominant as Yao in previous FIBA tournaments, winning them all and averaging a double double. "I'm not looking to set any personal records," he says, but everyone in Asia knows Yi is coming of age on a big stage.
