Date Set for Atlantic Yards Hearing as Critics Fail at Another Appeal

The Court of Appeals has set Oct. 14 for arguments on a critics' appeal of a lower court ruling allowing condemnation of private property for Barclays Center. A ruling can be expected in November. Bruce Ratner needs to market a half billion worth of arena bonds by Dec. 31. Meanwhile, critics have been denied a hearing on another appeal, this one challenging the state's environmental review of the arena.
