ESPN's Chad Ford ranks the off-season for all 30 NBA teams and puts the Nets at #27, ahead of the Bucks, Wolves and Grizzlies. Ford admits the Nets aren't planning for this season as much as 2010-11: "If they sign LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, or another star, New Jersey honchos Rod Thorn and Kiki Vandeweghe will look like geniuses." If not, he notes, their plans take a "major setback". He does like Courtney Lee.
