Construction Accelerates at Arena Site as Hearings Approach

New, comments

Construction activity at the Barclays Center site has accelerated in recent weeks as the state plans new hearings on a revised master plan. Most of the work involves new rail yards that must be built before a platform for the arena can be erected. Meanwhile, the ESDC has set hearings beginning next week on the overall master plan. It's uncertain if new architects' renderings will be ready by then.
