In an interview with HoopsWorld, Kiki Vandeweghe says he's excited about the changes the Nets made in the off-season, even though he admits the loss of Vince Carter will hurt. In particular, he expects Devin Harris to go beyond last season's improvement, particularly on defense. Of Yi Jianlian, he says "He needs playing time, he's working hard this summer...I think Yi Jianlian is going to be very good."
