Frank Gehry is out as architect of the Barclays Center and has been replaced by Ellerbe Becket, designer of the Celtics, Pacers, Bobcats and Grizzlies arenas. Gehry remains "master planner" for the overall Atlantic Yards. The new design, which will be less expensive, most resembles Conseco Field House, the Pacer arena. The Nets expect to release a full set of plans in late June.
