For years, the city's dailies have been unwavering supporters of Atlantic Yards, particularly the Barclays Center.. Then last week, the Post called for the MTA board to reject Bruce Ratner's proposed stretch-out of payments for the railyards beneath the arena, saying "The Original Deal or None". Now the Daily News editorial writers praise the MTA decision and call on the Nets owner to "Build, Bruce, Build."
