An On-Court Disappointment, Yi Still Making Money for Nets

The largest TV audience for an American sporting event last year wasn't for the Super Bowl. The two Nets-Rockets games, including the December 22 game in New Jersey, were bigger. Super Bowl XLIII attracted 94 million people, Yi vs. Yao at IZOD 106 million. Brett Yormark will sell those numbers this week in China. Yi Jianlian may not have excelled on court, but he's making money for the Nets off it.
