Peter Vecsey of the Post made his basketball bones covering the New York Nets of the ABA. With Roy Boe's death last week, Vecsey got an opportunity to reminisce about those days and those Nets. Vecsey writes Friday of Boe's optimism...optimism so great that even after he sold Julius Erving to the Sixers, he thought he could rebuild the Nets. He couldn't but he did leave a legacy of a fun time.
