Brett Yormark told a sports facilities panel Wednesday the Nets have six months to get their arena in order. The team needs key approvals--he called "formalities"--by Dec. 31. He didn't say what would happen if the Nets don't meet the deadline. Defending the decision to dump Frank Gehry, who he said in March was "still the architect", Yormark explained "Unfortunately the world we live in today is very different".
