Nets Going Low Key with Thorn and Marks at Lottery

Last May, the Nets sent minority owner and hyper celebrity Jay-Z to the lottery where he had a lot of attention but no luck. The luck came on Draft Night when nine teams passed on Brook Lopez.

Tuesday night, the Nets will go the conventional route with Rod Thorn on stage and Bobby Marks, Thorn's deputy and vice president for basketball operations in the back room at NBA Studios where the ping pong balls are drawn. Marks will know long before anyone in the Nets front office where the team will pick...but will have surrendered all his electronic gear before entering the room.

Ben Couch will twitter from the studio for the Nets.
