ESPN's rookie watcher David Thorpe has put together the first annual "Rookie 50 Awards" and Brook Lopez is all over it. Lopez, he writes, has been "nothing short of a revelation", and names him to the All-Rookie first team, the Rookie Defensive Team and calls him "the Defensive Rookie of the Year". Thorpe names his choice for ROY next week, but notes Lopez is "probably the most productive rookie".
