The Daily News reports that rats are now filling in the holes where 28 buildings once stood around the Atlantic Yards footprint. Residents now complain that the rats are Bruce Ratner's fault, that with Atlantic Yards stalled, rodents are the only thing moving into the empty lots where the Nets arena will be built. Ratner's construction boss claims once lawsuits are settled, work will resume.
