Nets Complete Season Sweep With Easy Win Over Sixers

The Nets are a loss or a Pistons win from being eliminated, while the Sixers have a shot at earning home court in the first round. But for the first time in history, the Nets swept the season series over Philly, and Sunday night's game at the IZOD Center was never in doubt. A 15-2 Nets run in the middle of the second quarter decided the game, as Philly never got anything going offensively. The Nets had seven players in double-figures, led by Vince Carter's 15 points. Bobby Simmons added 14 off the bench, while Devin Harris finished with 13 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Chris Douglas-Roberts also came away with 13, continuing his confident play of late. Meanwhile, Philly shot just 35 percent from the field and had only 28 points in the second half. Louis Williams was the only Sixer in double figures with 14. Andre Igoudala, who had scored 31 vs. the Pistons Saturday, had only 8 vs. the Nets.
