A group of Bergen County legislators Wednesday called on state officials to ignore Newark's mayor and do what is needed to improve the IZOD Center. The eight assemblymen stated that if New Jersey is going to keep the Nets, it must understand the NBA wouldn't want one of its teams to be a tenant in an NHL venue, "The Rock". A Nets' spokesman repeated the team mantra: ""We are moving to Brooklyn, period."
