Like Jason Kidd and Vince Carter before him, Devin Harris has joined those pushing the Nets' new arena in Brooklyn. Harris will appear in a campaign sponsored by the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, a quasi-governmental group. In his pitch, Harris says "a city that hasn’t had a professional team since 1957, when the Dodgers left, [is] yearning for us". The campaign wants to improve Brooklyn's image.
