It's the basketball writers who actually vote for the NBA's big awards and a few of them have turned in their ballots and are sharing their thoughts. The pattern remains the same: Devin Harris seems like a safe bet for Most Improved Player although Danny Granger has some support. For Rookie of the Year, it's looking like Brook Lopez will have to settle for #2, not bad for a guy selected at #10.
