The Nets will not lose 50 games this season and the Orlando Magic will not get the two seed in the East, thanks to the Nets' 103-93 win at the IZOD Center Saturday night. A 16-7 run spanning the first and second quarters gave the Nets the lead for good and they led by as many as 17 midway through the second. Orlando made runs to cut the lead down to single digits, but the Nets always answered. With Devin Harris out, Vince Carter led the way with 27 points and nine assists. Brook Lopez and Keyon Dooling each recorded double-doubles and three other Nets finished in double-figures. The Nets shot 54 percent from the field and made 11 of their 20 attempts from downtown. The Magic were without Rashard Lewis, lost Hedo Turkoglu to an ankle injury in the fourth quarter, and used Dwight Howard for just 26 minutes.
