As it turns out, there are exit polls in the NBA awards balloting just as there are in US elections. Dave D'Alessandro reveals that in a survey of NBA beat writers, Devin Harris has a comfortable lead over Danny Granger in voting for the Most Improved Player award. Dave D. writes that the "exit polls" have been "surprisingly reliable" in the past. Harris, meanwhile, is "bitter" about missing the playoffs...again.
