The Nets are apparently still holding on to the rope. They responded to Monday's embarrassing loss to the Bucks with a strong effort and a comfortable victory over the Pistons Wednesday night at the IZOD Center, snapping their five-game losing streak. The Nets took the lead early on and were up double-figures by the end of the first quarter. The Pistons never threatened after that as the Nets shot 51 percent from the field with six players in double-figures. Keyon Dooling got the start in place of Trenton Hassell and led the Nets with 23 points on 8-14 shooting. Devin Harris and Brook Lopez finished with 19 points apiece, with Harris adding 11 of the Nets' 27 assists.
