Vince Carter starts Thursday at small forward in place of Trenton Hassell with Keyon Dooling moving into Carter's slot. Lawrence Frank said it's no dis to Hassell but an attempt to bring more energy at the start of the game, adding he expected to experiment with other lineups "while trying to win every game." Frank also diagrammed the Nets' first play for Michelle Beadle in the YES pre-game.
