Jarvis Hayes has made no mystery of his desire to stay with the Nets next season--they have a $2 million team option. Al Iannazzone reports the Nets will likely pick it up, noting they won’t be able to get a solid sixth man elsewhere for that price. When asked if he expects the Nets to pick up his option, Hayes responded, "I would hope so." Meanwhile, it looks like Eduardo Najera will need surgery for his hernia.
