The Nets cut it back down to eight midway through the fourth, but that was as close as they got. The Nets shot just 37 percent in the first half and 41 percent for the game. Vince Carter led the Nets with 25 points and nine rebounds, while Keyon Dooling added 19 points and five boards. LeBron James had 30 points, 11 boards and eight assists for Cleveland. With the loss, the Nets are now two full games behind Chicago for eighth place in the East. After playing nine minutes in the first half, Chris Douglas-Roberts left the game with a stomach virus. He scored four points and grabbed two rebounds. The Nets tied a team record with only five turnovers.
