There are a lot of draft busts in Nets history, but none as notorious as Ed O'Bannon. The college Player of the Year who led UCLA to a national title was the No. 9 pick in the 1995 Draft, but didn't come close to living up to his NBA expectations. He averaged just 5.4 points in two seasons as a Net before being traded to Dallas. O'Bannon says that his confidence was shot and he lost his love for the game after a discouraging rookie season. He now sells cars in Nevada and doesn't follow the NBA.
