The Nets picked up their second straight win over a shorthanded team and their third straight win overall Wednesday night in Washington, handling the Wizards with ease, thanks to a 35-18 third quarter. The Wizards hung with the Nets for the first 24 minutes and the New Jersey lead was five at halftime, but an 11-0 Nets run to start the third opened the game up and Washington never got within single digits after that. Devin Harris led the Nets with 26 points and seven assists, shooting 10-17 from the field. Vince Carter added 20 points and five assists, Ryan Anderson had his second straight strong game with 18 points and nine rebounds, Brook Lopez recorded his third straight double-double and Keyon Dooling came off the bench for 14 points and six assists. Sean Williams even saw his first NBA action in almost two months. The Nets shot 61 percent as a team, hitting 12 of their 22 threes.
