Rod Thorn gave Lawrence Frank a vote of confidence Friday, seemingly insuring that he'll be around for a while. Now the league's fourth longest serving head coach, Frank is also second longest serving in the New York market. When the Rangers fired their coach Monday, he became the 19th coach of a New York team to be canned since Frank was hired. Only Tom Coughlin has been in the job longer.
