Rod Thorn told a group of about 200 season ticket holders Tuesday that he does not "anticipate" trading Vince Carter. Asked about trading Carter at the deadline, Thorn said he would never tell a player he wouldn't trade him and that there is always interest in top players, then added, "but I don't anticipate it." Thorn also seemed to downplay the Nets' interest in Amar'e Stoudemire.
