Yormark Adjusts Timetable for Arena Opening, Prokhorov Closing

New, comments

In a wide-ranging interview with Jessica Taff of YES, Brett Yormark said the Nets have begun construction of Barclays Center, predicting it will open in 2012 (instead of 2011-12); are prepared to welcome Mikhail Prokhorov in the first half of 2010 (instead of the first quarter) and are still interested in an interim move to Newark. Separately, he told Newsday, "Yes, we can play hockey there", speaking of Barclays Center.
