It's a move that seems to eliminate any possibility the Islanders will join the Nets in Brooklyn. Owner Charles Wang, Nassau County and the arena manager have signed on to an a new lease that gives the Islanders control of Nassau Coliseum. With the team losing $30 million a year, Wang has hinted he might move the team, possibly to Brooklyn. With the new agreement, the team has recommitted to Long Island.
