Tim Povtak of FanHouse suggests Net and Knick fans lower expectations for next July. None of the top free agents are likely to join their favorite teams. His logic is simple: despite the lure of New York, the big free agents can make more money and play with better personnel right where they are. Nothing, of course, hurts their prospects more than losing. Better to think about more traditional ways of rebuilding.
