Rafer Remembers...and Hopes

It was 2003-04 and the Heat were 0-7. Promising rookie Dywane Wade was getting hammered. Vets like Brian Grant and Eddie Jones couldn't bring it anymore and youngsters Caron Butler and Lamar Odom had nagging injuries. It got better slowly, first to 5-15, then by season's end to 42-40, a playoff berth and even a first round success. Rafer Alston was there and thinks the Nets could do the same thing.
