Yi Jianlian was among the more serious Nets this summer, working out in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, playing in the FIBA Asia Games. In preseason, he had three games of at least 20 points and 8 rebounds, sometimes but not always looking better than last year. He's hopeful he will be better. Lawrence Frank likes what he sees, but adds, "He still has a lot of work to do but I think you definitely see some growth."
