Yi had his best preseason game vs. the Knicks at the Garden Friday, with 21 points, 11 boards and a plus-eight. He also had two blocks, defended well late and threw one down on Danilo Gallinari, but some aren't convinced he's the guy the Nets need at PF. Lawrence Frank, he of the "process" philosphy, is happy with Yi's progress: "He's definitely made strides and become a better player." How much better is the question.
