By all accounts, Glen "Big Baby" Davis was the only free agent the Nets seriously pursued this summer. His agent called the Nets' interest "sincere". But at the end of the day, the Nets couldn't do a deal for the 6'9" power forward. Davis admits he thought he was out of Boston. In fact, he says he told his girlfriend, "we’ve got to pack. It’s time to go", before ultimately signing a two-year, $6.3 million deal.
