The Nets were one of the best defensive teams in the NBA in the first three seasons of the Jason Kidd era. But since then, their defense has fallen off, to the point where it was a serious liability last season. But with a new group of players comes a new commitment to the defensive end of the floor. Lawrence Frank says that practices so far have been 70 percent defense and 30 percent offense.
