Najera Pushing Mexican Basketball Resurgence

As the only Mexican player in the NBA, Eduardo Najera knows the value of basketball. So working with government and private groups, the Net forward and his foundation are pushing for a national youth basketball league in his native land. The league would be open to any Mexican child, free of charge, and hold a national tournament across several age groups. Mexico wants to host next year's Tournament of the Americas.
