Rookie Read-to-Achieve Makes for Happy Kids...and Rookies

The Nets' three rookies spent an afternoon at the NBA Store last week reading to third and fourth graders from Newark. Brook Lopez, Ryan Anderson and Chris Douglas-Roberts took turns reading about "William", a white garbage truck who turned green. Lopez said not only did the kids have fun, so did he: "I enjoy this sort of stuff, I really like to getting out there and meet kids."
