Josh Boone was one of only three ex-Huskies who sat out this weekend's Jim Calhoun Classic, the UConn coach's annual charity game. The others had their excuses: 42-year-old Cliff Robinson is retired and Ben Gordon, the Bulls' free agent, didn't want to risk injury while negotiating a new contract. There have been no reports of a Boone injury and Connecticut papers did not say why Boone sat out.
