The Nets say they want to "market" Yi Jianlian, not "exploit" him, but ... one third of the traffic to the Nets' website now comes from Asia, Chinese apparel and footwear companies have asked about sponsorships, and the team is running ads in Chinese newspapers and on Chinese radio stations in New York. Says a marketing consultant, "this elevates the Nets as an international sports brand."
