Hollinger: With Assets Galore, Nets Must Think Big

New, comments

John Hollinger commends the Nets for thinking big. Carmelo Anthony is just the type of player they need. He contends, however, that Anthony is unlikely to be dealt. Instead, he says, they should go for players just below Anthony's level, players like Josh Smith, Andrew Bynum, even Rashard Lewis. He adds, with picks, young players and expiring contracts, the Nets finally have the assets they need. Peter Vecsey also disses a 'Melo deal: "Why would Denver give up on him so early in his career?"
