The Dallas Morning News reports Mark Cuban may make "overtures" to DeSagana Diop in hopes of luring the former Mav back to Dallas. Eddie Sefko writes, without explanation, that "If the Mavericks feel he fits into their future, they will have a good chance to sign the free-agent 7-footer". Diop has said he's interested in staying in New Jersey or returning to Texas. To re-acquire Diop, Dallas would have to use a significant part of its $5.5 million MLE or get him in a sign-and-trade with the Nets.
